About the Author Currently the host of CBC Radio’s "Quirks and Quarks," Bob McDonald is also a regular columnist for CBC television’s The National and a documentary reporter for The National Magazine. He has also written articles for a number of publications. For seven years he was the host of Wonderstruck, an award-winning children’s science television show, and has written two books based on the series. His company, Event Horizon, has produced more than 100 educational videos for use across North America. He lives in Toronto.
